In case there is any confusion on how the head peace should be worn,
here is a photo show of how to put it on...sort of. I think that winding or twisting the side pieces will give it a more authentic look.

I believe this is the first official fake smile that I have caught. She was super tired and very silly!
This is what happens when Mommy squishes your face. She has the greatest little chin! Such pretty eyes! God has blessed us greatly with a little person who has a wonderful disposition and who is very cute! Thank you Jesus!


Jessica likes to sit with Daddy. There really wasn't room behind him but she didn't care. She pushed her way in behind him.

And then today, she has two pig tails and a barrette on each side. She doesn't like getting her hair done but doesn't seem to notice it once it is done. Someday she will like it.

Uncle Chris brought home cupcakes for Jessica's first birthday. She also got a Baby Genius movie: Underwater Adventures. It came earlier this week. She likes it! She keeps saying "Oof Oof" at the seals.

Baby Jessica was bouncy-dancing to the final theme music for an EWTN show that her and I were watching. It was very sweet. We started our day with Mother Angelica. It's been a good day, Mother's Rosary and all!

Ica has her first pony-tail. She looks like Pebbles now!

















Also, Iks has her first 2 teeth with 2 more on the way...the ones directly above her current 2. Yeah! That picture was apparently painful for her as she complained the entire time I was taking it!

Feeding Ducks

My friend Sarah suggested that we walk down to the river so we could feed the ducks.









Jessica has never done that before and seemed to find it very interesting.

There were kids playing in the river whom Jessica was waving at.

Her little reddish hair was sticking up much like Gabriella's used to.










The ducks were a little hesitant to come up close to us.










The pigeons came to eat towards the end. They are so pretty!

When we headed back, we crossed the swinging bridge. I had walked across that bridge in many years! We had a nice afternoon.
